Wildflower Bunting Part 1

Making The Wildflowers

The Pattern

Please see the introduction for stitch information and key. All information is together in a handy PDF pattern on Ravelry.

2D Wildflowers

All the 2D wildflowers are two rounds. The second round is always 12 special stitches. After completing round 2 either make another flower or continue to round 1 of the bunting.

The Violet Motif

Make 3 violets in wisteria. These flowers can be used to make a whole chain of bunting. They work up quickly and are ideal to alternate between the other flowers if you want to make a large chain.

Buttercup

Buttercups always remind me of playing on the school field at primary school. I think everyone knows the myth that if you hold a buttercup under your chin and it reflects a golden glow on your chin it means you like butter!
This pattern is pretty in all colours. Change yarn after Rnd 2 for multi colour flowers.
