UK Terms

Rnd 1. Start with a double magic circle or your preferred method of starting a circle. 16 tr into the circle including your starting tr. Use whichever method you like. I do 1 dc plus 1 ch. Pull centre tight and slip stitch to join.

Rnd 2. 4 tr (including starting stitch) into the first stitch. *[Ch 2, skip 3, 5 tr into the same stitch]. Repeat from * two more times. Ch 2, skip 3, 1 tr into the first stitch. Slip stitch to join.

Rnd 3. Working into the next stitch (the centre stitch) 4 tr (including starting stitch) ch 2, ss into the ch 2 space from rnd 2, ch 2. *[5 tr into the third stitch, ch 2, ss, ch 2] repeat from * 2 more times. 1 tr into the first stitch. Slip stitch to join.

Rnd 4. Working into the next stitch (the centre stitch) *[5 tr into the same stitch, 2 tr, 1 tr into the ch space from rnd 3, ch 2, 1 tr into the next ch space from rnd 3, 2 tr] repeat from * 3 more times. Slip stitch to join.

Rnd 3. Working into the next stitch (the centre stitch) 4dc, ch 2, ss into the ch 2 space from rnd 2, ch 2. *[5 dc into the third stitch, ch 2, ss, ch 2] repeat from * 2 more times. 1 dc into the first stitch. Slip stitch to join.

Rnd 4. Working into the next stitch (the centre stitch) *[5 dc into the same stitch, 2 dc, 1 dc into the ch space from rnd 3, ch 2, 1 dc into the next ch space from rnd 3, 2 dc] repeat from * 3 more times. Slip stitch to join.
